Long Beach High School’s literary magazine, Fragments, was named a First Class magazine in the 2023 NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) contest. First Class is the highest award in this prestigious contest offered by the National Council of Teachers of English. The magazine is run by Rachell Koegel, an English teacher at Long Beach High School. Congratulations to all on these tremendous achievements and honors!
