Prior to the first day of school on Sept. 6, incoming ninth graders were excited to be back with peers and explore Long Beach High School on Aug. 29 for orientation day.   

The students were welcomed by Principal Jeffrey Myers, building administrators and faculty for a grade-level overview of the year to come.   The rising freshmen toured the school building, had a chance to visit classrooms, ask upperclassmen questions and get acclimated with their new school surroundings. The morning event concluded with a Club Fair in the upper commons.
