Lindell Elementary School fourth graders were treated to an educational journey through the 100-year-old history of Long Beach during their visit to the Long Beach Historical and Preservation Society on Jan. 5. As part of the experience, they heard from local historians, learned about the people who lived in their city and examined artifacts at the museum.

The field trip was made possible thanks to Director of Social Studies and World Languages Theresa Scudiero and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Paul Romanelli. Special thanks to the Long Beach Historical and Preservation Society for hosting the students and providing them with an experiential learning that they benefited from.
