Students at Long Beach High School got hands-on experience with several trades at the school’s first annual Tech Expo event. Students explored various opportunities such as architectural design and drawing, design and drawing, television studio production, metalworking, woodworking, robotics, coding, and auto shop.

The event showcased some of the classes that the school offers with a variety of equipment used in those courses. “There are many opportunities for students to explore,” said technology teacher Eric Krywe. “By providing them with hands-on experience, they can make better decisions about what courses to take in the future.”

Additionally, the importance of learning a trade is also beneficial to their future, whether students continue on to higher education or enter the workforce after graduation.
