Fourth Graders Create Geography Museum

Students Outside Wearing

West Elementary School fourth graders have been learning about the geography throughout New York State. As a culminating experience to their studies, they worked in groups to create and curate a New York State Geography Museum that they showcased on Nov. 5.

As part of the assignment, each class focused on a different landform before presenting their research during an outdoor celebration, which was attended by parents and guests. The fourth graders wore “I Love NY” shirts that they made in school to celebrate their diligent project-based work.
