Long Beach High School’s ninth-graders had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the building on Aug. 31, in anticipation of opening day. The freshman orientation featured booths representing different student organizations, clubs and teams, and attendees were photographed for their school ID cards. They also toured the building and found their lockers. The high school additionally held a re-orientation program for students who are returning to in-person instruction after being fully remote last year. Busing was provided for both programs and administrators and staff members were on-site to greet students and welcome them to the high school family!
