A few select fifth-graders from North Babylon’s Parliament Place Elementary School used their creativity to continue a longstanding tradition in North Babylon – decorating the windows at the North Babylon Post Office. Under the direction of their art teacher, Renee Blank, the students sketched their designs in class before putting paint to window and creating their winter-themed snowmen mural. Each snowman design was used to represent the various December holidays, including Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa.
